Meet the Artist

​Hi, I’m Audrea—the artist  behind Studio Audrea.

​

I didn’t come from a traditional art background. In fact, I’ve never had formal training.  What I do have is a lifelong love of creating and a deep curiosity that’s led me to learn from anywhere and everywhere I could—through experience, exploration, and a lot of trial and growth along the way. 

Before stepping fully into this creative path, I spent 17 years as an elementary educator. That chapter shaped so much of who I am—especially my love for storytelling, attention to detail, and the desire to create things that feel meaningful and accessible to others. Today, I channel all of that into my work as a surface pattern designer and coloring book artist.

My designs are inspired by nature, nostalgia, and the quiet beauty found in everyday life. I’m especially drawn to creating pieces that feel whimsical, calming, and full of heart. 

Creating coloring books has become one of my favorite ways to share my art. There’s something special about designing pages that invite others to slow down, unwind, and add their own creativity to the process. It’s not just about the finished piece—it’s about the experience.

Through Studio Audrea, I create patterns for fabric, wallpaper, home décor, and products, along with coloring books designed to bring moments of calm and creativity into everyday life.I believe art doesn’t have to be complicated to be meaningful—it just has to make you feel something.
